Your tasks:
- Show, rent, or assign accommodations
- Purchase supplies, and arrange for outside services, such as deliveries, laundry, maintenance and repair, and trash collection
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance
- Prepare required paperwork pertainingto departmental functions
- Participate in financial activities such as the setting of room rates, the establishment of budgets, and the allocation of funds to departments
- Confer and cooperate with other managers to ensure coordination of hotel activities
Your skills:
- Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things
- Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
- Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions
- Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
